MX225 er designet til fjernstyret kontrol af volumen hos flere forstærkere, eller kraftfulde højttalere i et distribueret lydsystem. To stereo-kilder er tilgængelige til fem output-zoner. Hvert kilde input-par håndterer separate venstre og højre balancerede line-level signaler. Hver output-zone tilbyder uafhængig level-kontrol fra inputs 1 og 2, stereo/mono-selektor med mono-indikator, LED-niveaumålinger og venstre og højre balancerede line-level zone-outputs. Alle lydstik er balancerede XLR. Den indbyggede strømforsyning og 19" rackmount-format gør enheden let at installere og giver pålidelig drift.
