  The built-in 24-bit/48 kHz audio interface with Roland’s high-end audio conversion for Master and Booth outputs ensures faithful reproduction of your sound sources and clear, powerful audio. Balanced XLR outputs let you connect directly to a professional PA system, and you can monitor your mixes via Booth Outs as well as separate 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch headphone jacks. A 1/4-inch TS microphone input allows you to add vocals or external instruments to your setup. Dedicated Serato DJ controls provide quick creation and triggering of hot cues, loops, TR sounds, sequencer patterns, and samples, as well as fast switching between four Serato decks with the Deck Select button. Use the channel filters or Serato FX (available via three FX select buttons per deck) for refined blends or accented scratching.

  The DJ-505 includes kick, snare, closed hi-hat, open hi-hat, tom, rim, clap, and ride sounds from the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606*, and TR-707*, offering a wide range of possibilities for creating layered drum sounds and evolving sequences. You can fine-tune your TR drum sounds and samples using the Level, Attack, Decay, and Tune knobs, and easily build rhythm patterns with the famous step-based TR-S pad interface.

Use the 16-step sequencer to program drum patterns with TR drum sounds or the Serato Sampler, then sync beats to your Serato DJ tracks to create unique transitions, live remixes, original tracks, or enhanced versions of classics. Activate Inst-Rec mode to instantly and in real time record Sampler sequencing, or use the advanced features of the Serato Sampler to layer and synchronize multiple audio tracks or loops within the eight sampler slots. Finally, the DJ-505 features a MIDI output to sync MIDI-enabled external devices and instruments with the TR-S sequencer.
